Best way to load excel data

Hi,

I have some data which is in an odd format.(see attached)

I'm thinking that it may need a Crosstable load, but I'm not sure.

It contains the fields : Question ; QuestionDesc ; Group Excl ; Group Incl

Any suggestions or ideas on how to load this into Qlikview would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

I dont thing you need to create a crosstable you exclude any blank rows in load script or in any object level also. Or if you want to create a crosstable it is also good technique to use it, but you need to use data according to cross table after creation.

Hi Beanz,

If you want to create a Crosstable create a crosstable like

Data:

CrossTable(QuestionDesc, Data)

LOAD Question,

     QuestionDesc,

     [Group Excl],

     [Group Incl]

FROM

[sample data.xlsx]

(ooxml, embedded labels, table is Sample);

And check the result.

Best Regards,

Anand
