Bookmark in SharedFile when fields are removed from data model

Hello,

what happens with a bookmark in the SharedObject File when one or more (but not all !) fields which are used in the bookmark are removed from data model?

Is the bookmark in the shared objects file with the remaining fields still available and still working?

my experience is that the bookmark wont work at all. No selections will be made.

As per my knowledge , if the fields used in the bookmarks are deleted then bookmarks won't work ...you need create a fresh bookmarks for the same.

i think it will apply selections for the fields that exists in bookmark & datamodel.

You could do a simple test, by selecting 3-4 fields and data elements and create a bookmark. after that try dropping a column and see once you apply the bookmark you will have a selection made on the common fields between the datamodel & bookmark. ....Will do this on my Windows machine tomorrow as well

One good tool i usually use is "Power Tools", not sure if you are already using or not, but this will show your all elements inside SHARED object.
