Bookmark select all of the possible values instead of non filter action

Hi forum,

I'm in a deep puzzle when I reopened bookmark which stored the previous filtering. Hope someone can lend me a hand. Thanks!

Below screen saptured is what I was filter. I was going to put it into a bookmark.

As you see, I didn't perform any filtering on Agent Type

But when I apply my filtering to a bookmark, all of the Agent Type are selected.

This will make our user confused. Does any options can let the bookmark work as normal. What I mean is keep the selection I select before.

Hi,

I think this is because you have few locked selection.

That overwrite your selection.

Can you try the same without locking fields ad let me know if that worked.

This is very old version

I would suggest you to go with latest version if possible 11.2 sr8.

If you can share sample application I can confirm weather it works fine with latest version or not.

Hi Ashfaq,

I tested in my pc, the problem does not exist. But when I put the qvw to server and then refresh, the problem exists.

The version of Qlikview installed in my pc is different from server's.

It always happened when the field has field event trigger. When I didn't perform any filtering on the filed and save book mark, those fields with field event trigger will select all of the values after opened bookmark.

It's very weired.

Because the file size is larger than 40M, I need some time to re-produce another one for your testing.

Shall I re-produce another one? The problem does not exist when the program run in my pc.

Hi,

If possible create a sample ans share it with me to test.

As it works with your PC which is different version then that of server, I think upgrading to latest version will solve this.

I create a new qvw file in my pc attach for you invistagation. But it works in my pc.

I'm requesting colleague to copy it to server to see how it goes.
