In addition to recreate your selections, can a bookmark take you to another sheet, as to where the bookmark was created?
If not, what alternative method can do this?
I just tested it in a random model and it should work fine.
See the attached file.
i don't think it is possible, as the bookmarks only set your selection, one alternative is to add a button with two actions, the first one is to select the bookmark and the second one will take you to the sheet that you want.
Right Click
New Sheet Object
Button
Actions Tab
Add
Layout
Activate Next Sheet
Or
Activate Sheet
Sheet ID
Mention the ID of Sheet which you want to activate after clicking on this button
Sheet ID, you can get by
Right Click empty space of any sheet
Sheet ID is mentioned on TOP RIGHT corner
Thanks Malek
Just thought I could do it with Bookmarks somehow.
Yes it can.
When you create a bookmark, check the "include layout state" checkbox. It will then take you to the active sheet and the activated object.
Thanks for your response Simen. But unfortunately it doesn't. Unless there's something else Im missing.
I've ticked the "Include Layout" checkbox, but it does not take me to the appropriate sheet.
I just tested it in a random model and it should work fine.
See the attached file.
Hello,
also check 1st option 'make this bookmarka document bookmark' and it works
Seems like it is not possible when creating a bookmark as a user in Accesspoint, but when you create a document bookmark from the desktop version it works as intended even in accesspoint.
I leave it to someone else to test in the IE-plugin.
Yes you're right Simen. I've tried it again and it takes me to the sheet. But I notice that it doesn't remember by objects' visibility/invisibility. I have some buttons on the sheet which hides and shows different objects. These dont get reselected by the Bookmark.
