Hi,
does anyone have experience with the books on QlikView offered at packtpub_publishing or elsewhere? - actually I would prefer the O'Reilly_publishing because they don't use DRM, but they don't seem to have anything on QlikView?
I would like to learn more on the subject to be able to make still better apps:
- I have "QlikView 11 for Developers", which I find an excellent book for both QlikView_beginners and experienced developers - there's
always something new.
- I have been working in my current role as QlikView developer/ GUI_designer/ admin in March.
=> Before that, i have already had four years of experience with a similar tool - focused on data_analysis, though, not on the
presentation_side
Can anybody give me a hint as to which of the available publications might be recommendable for me?
Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
DataNibbler
Hi,
no, that offer is not on anymore. What a pity - just saw it today.
I'll be on the lookout for the next promotion coming along.
I think that one would make sense and so would the one on scripting. At the moment I don't really have time to look at optimizing my apps - we are still in the general buildup_phase and since there's virtually only me to do it, it takes time - but optimizing does make sense, doing as much as possible in the script and keeping the charts and GUI as simple as possible.
That's basically what I did in my last job, saving runtime by the second and minute - and then the first colleague came along with an SSD drive 😉
Best regards,

Hello IsrarKhan,
Thank you for your thoughtful response I think referencing these resources will be very helpful.
In the future could you please be sure to link to the resource already in the community and be sure to reference the author?
For Example:
