Good morning.
I previously received assistance with this question, But like everything, the goal posts keep moving!
In the attached example there are 2 objects which show the top or bottom x Clients, based on a value.
The bottom objects show the same principle, but based on a start and end date. I am however finding an issue with finding the bottom x Clients in the 'Orange' object. What I am finding is that when I select the entire date range the, the values are correct. However, if I select a smaller date range, the ranked values returned are not correct.
I thank you for a possible solution in advance.
John
Hi John,
Have a look at attached, What i've noticed was the date values in your variables are not same format to your date field,
Not sure exactly where the error on your object is, so i done a new one instead.
see if this works for you.
Please see attached:
I've basically translated your IF expression into a Set Analysis.
to achieve the bottom rank with variable dates.
Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for the example.
I changed the calculated dim and expression to set analysis, but it is still returning incorrect number of Amounts.
In the attached example the start and end variable is set to May 2014, but looking at the chart, it is returning Amounts outside of that selection!
I would expect it only to return Amounts for May.
Please could you point out anywhere else I am going wrong?
Thank you - John

Hi Jonathan,
Date format! It is working perfectly for Top and Bottom in this example now.
I am going to look at the source in the AM.
Thank you very much.
