Button action for select 2 items not working

Hi All

I have field = pro_cls

when i create a button action for filter 1964 for pro_cls it work fine.

when i try to filter for more then 1 items i use:-

(1964|1963)

it not work.

Can some one advise me ?

Hi Paul,

I am not able to open your file, throws an error. Can you upload it again?

Meanwhile you can try using this:

Action:Select in Field

Search in Field:  pro_cls

Search String : (*1964*|*1963*)

Adding * will eliminate chances of mismatch, if there are any .

     your attached file unable to open. please upload again.

     if you want to filter more than 1 using button then you are using correct search string but in which button event you are using this.

try the same in Select in field event:

     1.  Give field name (in field option without equal sign)

  2.  Use your string without equal sign in search string.
