i have just moved to adminstration of QV apps from dedelopment. I have 10 apps in a server. I want 2 users(they have name CALs) to be able to see only 6 apps. how do i restrict them from accessing other 4 apps?(i learnt that named CAL users can access ALL apps). and i want them to restrict for any sort of modifying the script (which comes with named CAL). Do i have to go into SECTION ACCESS and user wise restriction or there is something in Pblisher ? Please advice.
As far as I know the way to do this is to create separate folders in the document root folder and put the documents in the those subfolders. Then assign the right filesystem permissions to the users for only the folder that contains the documents they should be able to see. If a user has no filesystem access to a folder the documents in that folder should not be visible in the acces point.
