Calculate YTD dynamically

Hi,

I need to show the sales for YTD (Year-To-Date),

I have a slider in my report, if they select the time frame, then it should the YTD sales for the selected year.

if not selected, then it should show the YTD sales for the current data year.

How we can do that?
