Calculate the time taken by charts on being opened on QV Desktop?

Hi Friends,

Do by any chance is it possible to calculate the time taken by charts on being opened (maximized/minimized/selections etc) on QV Desktop mode (not from Web/Access Point)?

Is there any Log Files or any specific Dashboard available for these as well?

Please help in elaborating.

Goto Sheet Properties->Objects Tab-> Calc Time

There you can find authentic calculation time , may be that is what you are looking for.

Thanks. Might be I was needing this. Could you answer what's the unit for this (milliseconds/microseconds) or where can I find this?

Hi,

Goto Settings tab ---> user preference ---> objects.

on right side there is a block for "calculation progress information". select "Verbose" and apply.

on your charts you can view the calculation time with units on progression.

Could you please help in elaborating what does Verbose does exactly?

Because I changed to Verbose and applied. Still in the Sheet Properties>>Objects, I am not seeing any units over there.

Is there any other areas to look into?

Is the RED highlighted portion will come automatically or some settings is there?

Because whenever I open any chart (also some large charts), I can't see the progress bar.

Probably this bar information will only show up for large time calculation, not for very neglible amount of time.

I wish I could see for very very neglible amount of time calculation as well!!!
