Need to create a chart where Region values are America, Europe and Asia but the requirement is to show another value which is the sum of all three as Overall. Any suggestions ?
Would be it be better to solve it in the script or the object level ?
Hi,
Either way is fine. But at chart level it's fine with simple aggregation sum({Field<{Regions}>}Field).Rename the label as Overall
can use set analysis for the same.
Thanks.
Current expression is Sum(Sales) with Dimensions as Region and Industry.
Couldn't understand your example above.
Hi.
You can use Calculated Dimention like:
If (Match(Region,'America','Europe','Asia')>0, Region, 'Overall')
Hi Arsalan,
For getting total with all the dimensions.
Go to Dimension Limits, refer the image attached below(Total.png).
Then on Expression - > Background Color - > =if(Region=Region,rgb(80,160,240),rgb(252,115,98)).
Kindly refer the attached image, I have disabled the Dimension Name but with blue color shows region(like america, india etc) and red color shows(total_d).
