Calculated dimensions always expanded in pivot chart tables

Dear QV users,

I contacted the support team for this issue, but maybe you already had this kind of problem.

When adding a calculated dimension in a Pivot table chart, then it is fully expanded and there is no way to reduce the dimension.

When I pout back a normal dimension, everything is working fine.

It seems this issue happens since SR6...

I hope you'll be able to give me some clues...

Hey Sebastien,

We are getting this exact problem with 8.5 SR6, but the support team have not provided any fixes for this yet. Have you had any success with it yet?

As far as I understand it from the support team, this will not be fixed in version 8.50, and in fact you need to move to V9 SR3 to fix it.

I've tested this on 8.5SR5 & SR6, v9 SR1 & SR2 and it's not working, but v9 SR3 corrects the problem.

Hi all,

This problem is related with QVS and QV Developper versions.

After different calls to the support team, they provided us with a specific release for each of them.

They advised us to install the last 8.5 SP then go on the fix they gave us (version 6345) which solve this issue.

However this fix is only related to 8.5 and is not officially available for the public (download section).

I hope this will help you. I advise you either to install a previous QVS version ( not advised by support team however) or ask for this build (but test that no other issue appear using it).
