Calculating Variance as a Dimension in Straight table

Hi all,

I have a scenario where I need to calculate the variance and populate as a Dimension

For ex:

i need to populate data as shown in the below Picture. I have each color as my dimension and i have measures Cost, Weight and Count

Now I need to calculate variance variamce = total-(red + blue+ black+brown+Yellow+Pink+Green).

Kindly reply asap.

Is this a straight table or pivot table you are looking to get this done in?

But we might not get always Zeros for the Variance

Can you provide a sample where you get a variance ? So that it will help us to get a solution..

I am not Sure. We will do Expression total as Total Mode under Expression tab for each expression. Thereby it calcultes the Total Field. And the Cost, Weight fro each dimension will be calculated and atlast Variance need to be done.
