Can I limit who can see certain QVWs?

I have a situation where passwords, and NTFS limiting access to the QVW is not enough.. What they want is a way to limit who can actually see that it exists on the Qlikview Access Point. Is there any way to limit what QVWs users can see on the Access point?

Thank you

goto QMC and specify the list of users(only these users would be able to see the application on Accesspoint) in the group for that application.

Hope that helps.

I think you may not have your security set correctly, do you have publisher?

Having publisher makes this much easier to implement, you can set permissions as part of your distribution task.

If you don't have it then you have to use the file system security to limit what user can see. The default security settings in the file system would allow all users to see all the documents.

Here is a blog post where I describe what I have done at other clients

Business Intelligence Adventures: Managing QlikView Server Without a Publisher

The post may be a little out of date, and lack specifics but it may get you started.

Good luck

This is exactly what I was expecting to see, and since I didn't find it there, I thought it did not exist. Does this require a specific License level?

I do not have the authorization tab, I have: Server, Document Information, and Reload. I will accept your answer as correct, as it is. But if you could further explain if it is a higher licesnse needed, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Enterprise level license is needed to see those features.
