Can I use a checkbox object and conditional formatting to cross off a record

Hello all,

I have a rather unique ask. This stems from my desire to get my clients away from an excel workbook, and into my Dashboard.

Currently, I have an excel output from a straight table I create where I use the Checkbox Object and Conditional Formatting within a shared workbook to allow my Client to "check-off" projects that have already been validated.

I'm curious if I could possibly implement a similar approach within my Dashboard (QVW file).
