Can actions be set on linked objects?

I have a QlikView dashboard that has 6 sheets.  The left column on each sheet has the same list boxes which allow users to filter by mode, move type etc.   The list boxes are linked objects.    I created a trigger/action to minimize the list boxes OnLeaveSheet.  I added the triggers to each sheet in the dashboard but the action only works on the first sheet.  Is is possible to set multiple actions on linked objects?

Wondering,

Kathleen

So here is my solution.  I removed the link for these objects and then added the trigger to minimize each list box filter when the sheet is closed.  It works like a charm.

I can't tell you right now because i don't have qlikview with me. but i think there is an option when you create duplicate you can check that if you want to keep association with it. by doing that it should work.

Hi,

If you can share some qvw.

Or add what triggers you are adding,

I have added a text box as linked object  on multiple sheet and added some actions,

The actions are reflected to all the linked objects.

Pankaj, I'm adding a trigger to Minimize Object OnLeaveSheet.  The object is a listbox that is on multiple sheets.  The action works on the first sheet but when I add it to the next few sheets it doesn't work.

Just curious, why do you want to minimize the listboxes when leaving the sheet?

Hi Rob,

The list boxes are used as filters and are set up as minimized to create a clean look to the page.  They open/maximize on top of the other list box filters.  When the user leaves the sheet and then comes back the open list box is underneath the other list boxes which looks odd and confuses some users.  Minimizing the list box when leaving the sheet keeps the dashboard looking clean.
