I want to write some data (the date and time of the alert) to a file when an alert triggers.
Can the alert trigger a macro?
Hi,
Were you able to do this? If yes, please share.
thanks,
Rajesh Vaswani
Hi there,
Did any solution came up on this matter....
I have the same issue too....
Thanks,
Nikolaos Kavroulakis
The trigger from alert could also triggered a macro. Writing data into a file will only work in fat-client or IE. Possibly a choice is to write the data into a variable.

Hello,
Any solution for triggering a macro from alert ? If yes, can you provide the steps or example.
thank you very much
Kamal
You can't triggering a macro from alert directly but you could do same condition-check parallel in a variable with an OnChange-Trigger. An another possibility could be to check the receiving from a mail message (with certain parameters) within your mail client and then react from extern.
