Can direct discovery split a field into memory and disk?

Hello:)

As I know from the document of  'drect discovery', I can make the fields what I want into memory or disk.

Table: field A B C D E,  -------  ABC in memory and DE in disk.

My question is : Can direct discovery split a field into memory and disk? like: Field A has  some records of 10years's data.  Because the latest 4years is frequently used,  I want the data of first 6 years stored in disk, and latest 4 years in memory. Can QV do this?

Thanks.
