I don't understand what you mean by SQL report, are you talking about a query or a complete report, something like SQL Server Reporting Services?
SQL queries can pretty much be copied directly into QlikView's script editor and it should work. This my my preferred method of getting data into QlikView.
As for any sort of layout or report design, I believe that has to be created from scratch in QlikView. In QlikView, reports are made up of standard QlikView objects and placed on a page layout. Tables and charts are easy to get started on, but also offer a lot in the way of customization. Unfortunately, QlikView's tables are not as customizable as the table object in Reporting Services, that is definitely the major thing I miss about Reporting Services.
