Can memory be partitioned off for QlikView?

Just wondering if its possible to do this QlikView. For instance can I allocate 16GB to QlikView and 16GB for everything else?

Although the original post didn't say anything about stand-alone or server, I assumed it was about stan-alone, that's exactly why I added the note about the server.
