Can't open qlikview modules in PE

Hi there,

Can you please assist me with this. I have Qlikview Personal Edition install. I needed to rebuild my laptop (with same computer name and loggin). But now I can't open some of the modules that I created. I dont have any prj files.

Please assist

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover those files unless you have your copy of QlikView Desktop licensed. See Document Recovery in the Personal Edition FAQs

You've exhausted the four recovery options. That means you can now no longer open documents you created before you ran out of recoveries unless you acquire a license. You can still create new documents and save and open these.

Ok, but these were created by me. Is there anyway to recover this as there is alot of work that went into creating this.

The only way is to buy (or beg/steal/etc) a license. Each time you use a recovery option the license key for the personal edition changes and you can't open files created before anymore.

What was strange was that when I tried to open a different module, it only then reported that I still have 3 recoveries left.
