Hi All,

Please i'm trying to read excel file(.xlsx) containing macros in qlikview

but when i press table files wizard and choose this file it appears to me ''can't read biff file'

what's the problem here and how to read proteted excel file?

Hi

For some reason Qlikview thinks this is an xls file (presumably the macros). xlsx files require Qlikview (or you) to select the Excel (xlsx) option.

BTW, excel with macro files should be xlsm extension...
