Can't set Border and Shadow for Text Object

Can someone tell me why "Shadow intensity", "Border width" and "Color" are inhibited from any input in the Layout tab of a text object?

Which version are you using? Did you enable borders?

you can go to settings -> document properties -> General tab and check Styling Mode = Advanced.. but I don`t think that`s the problem...
