I have a requirement in which One Power user of client wants to enter values (in say Qlikview Text Object) from access point and he wants that all the other users to see that value.

HI Erica,

By default QlikView does not support this functionality.

The only way you could enter data in to QlikView is using the Input Box and Slider objects.

These will enable doing a What if analysis in QlikView.

I believe for what you ask you would have to buy a third party extension like kilqPlan.

thanks,

Hi Erika,

QV11 has got a new collaboration feature called -'Notes and Comments'. You might want to explore that.

But if  I will use Input box. When one user enters the value from the access point then other users will not be able to see that value .

Hi tresesco,

here the user want to enter some description in text box present in each tab of dashboard.

Only one user should have the access to write in that text box and others to see it.

I am afraid that, it is not possible unless you teach the user basics of qv development and assign him a developer role . Users can't do that from front end. I think that makes sense too, to not allow a user modify application from front end which affect others.
