Cancel an Export-to-Excel

Hi all,

I have a table with about 10 million records in it and I just accidentally hit the XL icon, so it's started exporting it all to an Excel file for me.

Anyone know of any way to cancel this? Escape and CTRL+Break don't seem to do much.

Thanks v much,

Tony

You can start up the Windows task manager and cancel the QlikView application. You will lose any changes that you've made to the document since the last time you saved it.

Thanks guys. I was really hoping for a key stroke combination that would stop QV from calculating, but I guess none is available.

I didn't want to lose my work so I went for a cup of tea and let it run - it took about 30 minutes to export the 10 million records, then Excel crashed. Coffee

cheers,

Tony
