Capture screenshots from QlikView

Does anyone have an idea on how to capture screenshots from a QlikView screen?

The approach should also work once the application is hosted on IE/Crome

Press the "Print screen" button on your keyboard.

If you mean something else, please explain.

May you live in interesting times!

Hi

You can select File | Export then Export sheet Image and this will allow you to save a screenshot to a named file.

Good luck.

If you are using the IE plugin,

then you can use:

Right Click, "Export Image to File" for a whole sheet.

Right Click, "copy to Clipboard" > Image

Or even use the Windows Snipping tool

Thanks.

This is useful to some extent, because it does capture the screenshot, but it redirects the document to the printer, which we don't want.

Is there an option to write a macro to simply capture the screen and save it as an image?

It's not possible to take screenshot of all ur qv objects.but if u want to export major object like any chart type by clicking on button..u can do it through macro and trigger tht macro on tht button.
