Capture value from animated chart

Hi all,

    Is it possible to capture data value to a variable , when a chart is in animation ?

I have created a guage chart with animation. i want to show the data value which is pointed by the needle in text object or in other chart. That should be like timer , values should change as per animation.

Can any one help me on this .
