Hi all,
i need some informations about Qlikview Certification. Can anybody tell which materials i can use to prepare certification exam?
It there a book about questions and answers of exam?
Thank you
Francesca
i thnk,u can go with
1. Reference manual
2. QlikView 11 for developer
It there a book about questions and answers of exam? --there no straight book for this.
IIRC Qlik will tell you as soon as you register for an exam.

Hi,
what certification are you taking?
Do you already know QlikView or are you just starting?
I could generally recommend you "QlikView 11 for Developers". It takes you quite far. Not connected to any certification, but it's a very good book to learn QlikView.
Then just have a look through all the documents and/or blog posts here in the Community.

Yes as DataNibbler is suggested "QlikView 11 for Developers" will help you start qlikview if you are new.
you need to concentrate on scripting part how joins work, Keep , synthetic keys , basic knowledge of data modeling and BI/data warehousing will be helpful.
Thanks

how much experience is recommended to get certificate?![]()
Certification is by definition not for the unexperienced.
Moreover, the more experienced the examinee, the shorter the exam. For example, it helps quite a lot to be a Windows SysAdmin if you are trying to get QlikView System Administrator certification.
Is it worth to get certified from QV Designer? Or it's better to wait and get Developer?
How long did it take to get prepared for QV Developer? I don't mean the whole experience, but in fact how much time did you spend on reading books and materials before facing QV Developer?
Developer counts for both Developer+Designer so I would choose that one.
Two personal answers: 8 years to get the experience, as a result not a single minute to prepare (except for the paperwork). I have to admit that I waited to get certification until it was almost too late (bosses getting nervous...) so I may not be the best role model ![]()
Better advice: a couple of years of experience in all phases of QV projects + a day of recaps of QV intricacies and best practices + QlikView 11 for Developers from front to back. That should do it in most cases. YMMV.
Best,
Peter
Nice
Thank you for your comprehensive answer, Peter.
