I am trying to change the text based on selecting a chart in an container.

Basically I need code like the following.

if(Chart1.isSelected(), Button.setText("Chart1"),Button.setText("Chart2"))

How will you know which chart is selected in the container?

    Since i am working Qlikview 9 Version only. So i am sure about Container in Qlikview 11 version.
