Change YearMonth or Month from numeric to Text Value

how do I change YearMonth (201105) or Month (5) from a numeric to a text value?

I'm trying to do it in the following expression

Max(YearMonth)

Max(Month)

Try something like this (un-tested):

Date(makedate(left(YEARMONTH,4),right(YEARMONTH,2)),'MMMYY')

You could also try Date(Date#(YearMonth,'YYYYMM')) for YearMonth, the Date# function is used to tell QlikView the current format of the value and Date (without #) to format it in another way.
