Change colour in multiple selections object

Hi, I need to change the background colour of the multiple selection object dimensions titles.

Not the values list (in which the grey green and white logic is applied); what I want to change is the cell that contains the name of the dimension as I am working on an qlik document with black background.

Attached is an image, I what to change what is in grey to black.

Hi,

I already change that and it does not work, I try also setting it see-through and nothing changes.

Hi Pamela, that's very weird. I've just try and it seems to work fine. What version of Qlikview do you have?

Ok, then what happens if you just open a new document (put some random data on it) and just load a multibox with one field and try to change the closed color. If that works, then we should find if there's something else what's causing the problem. But if it doesn't I would say it's probably something on the user or document preferences.

Let me know what happens.

Cheers,

Andrés

Ok, got it. You should go to documt properties and on the general tab put the Transparency setting to 70%. Then, go to the multibox object and select the background option and then put it to black. community2.jpgcommunity.jpg

Hope it helps,

Good to hear that. And I know, but that's the way it was design (don't know why). Anyway, if it was useful just marked as correct the question, that way other people will find easier a solution on the future.

All the best,

Andrés

The right way to get something similar is to use a graphic simple table instead of a multiple selection box.

You add the dimensions you want without expressions; then in presentation tab you check drop down select box and in tittles tab you unable them. In this way you get a false list box but in which you can easily edit  the colors.
