Change of variable vs. logical states

Hi,

Did anyone face with a problem when changes of variables made internally on actions get in the way of transitions between logical states?

Namely, I would like to understand whether it's possible to avoid such an effect?

As for me, I don't think this is a good reason to consider a change of a variable via "Set Variable" action as a change of logical state since a user can make some selection, say, he/she selects an year from calendar then the user presses a button which behavior is implemented via "Set Variable" action, after that the user presses Back and still see the year as selected because QV rollbacks the variable value to the previous one.

So, is it possible to set variable on action bypassing change of logical state?

OR!

Maybe there is some other way how to transit between sheets via buttons when all the buttons should activate a sheet with filters and the button at the sheet with filters should back to a sheet which filters had been invoked from?

Thanking you in advance.

Best regards,

Maxim
