Changing color of set reference

Hi there Qlikview addicts,

I have been searching the forum, yet I'm did not found any post regarding this problem.

Is there a possibility to change the color of the set reference mode?

In addition, it's a shame that there not seems to be an option to define de distance between the selection made and the set referen,

especially seen the fact the selection and the set reference overlap for like 99 percent!

As you can see from my graph the contrast between the green and the shady green is not that big.

Thanks a million,

Be my hero(ïne),

Tim

Hi Tim,

Sorry, please can you explain in detail? If possible with an example.

Thanks,

Alright,

When your right-click and click on "set reference", QV will hold the selection.

Now, when do this and make another selection. The set reference selection becomes shady Green and shady Red, as you can see on my picture. However, the difference between those two is very small. The contrast between green and shady green and red and the shady red is not big. White versus green and red would be 100 times more visible. So my question here was whether it is possible to change the colour of the set reference mode. Just to like, be visually more able to behold the difference. Is this clear now? Tnx!

Hi Tim,

Now I am clear. But I dont have solution for this one. I checked the API guide and could not find anything specific. Except on setting up the reference through Macros and clearing the reference.

Sorry, I cant be much help here but I'll wait to see if other experts have a solutions.

Thanks,

DV

Tim,

A partial solution might be to change the "Reference Mode" to Light Gray or Grayscale on the General Tab of the properties for your chart. Not a great solution but one I have used.
