Chart Attach Detach via a macro

Hello,

From the Attached File, can any one tell me why the name of the dimension on the chart doesn't change after clicking on any of the 2 buttons ?

NB : i want to keep the chart always detached.

You are Detaching it too soon in the macro. Add a wait before the Detach:

ActiveDocument.GetApplication.WaitForIdle
