When I make a selection in a check box, I must click NOT on the name of the value I want to select but precisely on the small check box beloning to this particular value. It is not quite convenient.
Is it somehow possible to qlik directly on the name of the value and select it like in a list box?
Use a default (or "QlikView classic") List Box instead.
Go to the Presentation tab of the List Box. In the middle on the left-hand side you will find "Selection Style Override". Play around with the options in there.
