I have a button on Qlikview sheet. On click of button I want the other objects like chart should repopulate.

Right click on the button and go to properties window..

Go to 'Actions' tab and add action : Action Type: Layout ;Action:Activate Object

Hi All,

I have a button object and a chart object. While clicking on "button object" one value is set on the variable.

As per the value presents on the variable the chart object should be filtered. Kindly help me how the value assigned on the variable would be retrieved here? and how this chart object would be refreshed by using the value presents on the variable?

Hello,

depending on what you want to do with the variable value, you will need to incorporate the variable in probably a set analysis to filter the chart. If you want to use the value in a calculation, you need to use tha variable in the formula.

Does that makes sense?
