I have a text object in which I have mentioned an email id. When I click on the id, outlook window should open with my id as from-id and id in the textbox as to-id.
Here you go...please find the attachment
You need to store your id field in the QV Variable and you can call the variable content in the VB Script.
Good luck!
Cheers - DV
I would use a trigger to select the ID field. Document Properties -> Trigger -> Field event procedure. Select Field ID and button Add action To Selct. This action would make the Open URL, which is in the External type actions.
URL you would put in something like the following:
'mailto:' & direccionEmail
I hope I've been helpful.
A greeting.

Hi Deepak,
I tried your macro to open Outlook with my e-mail address. ( if somebody wants to send me e-mail)
I got an error "ActiveX component can't create object: 'Outlook.Application' " row#7
Regards,
Sorry Deepak,
I found out it
<URL>mailto:'&your_emailaddress_field
Thanks,
Hello vovan4ik.
Do you try my proposal? I don´t need macro.
