Cognos to Qlikview Migration

We need to migrate 120 + reports from Cognos to Qlikview in a very less time period.

So i am requesting you guys if any one have any idea/Documents please share to me ASAP.

You need to rebuild it from the scratch , there is no other way to migrate from Cognos to Qlikview

You cannot directly transfer the reports from cognos to Qlikview as there is no such connector available. You need to understand underlying SQL query used to generate the reports in cognos. You can then connect to database and use that query to build the reports in QlikView. So this gonna be a new project for you to analyse the underlying data source to build the reports in QlikView.

i already verified in Google but i didn't get any help ,that to i don't have knowledge in Cognos.

but client is requesting as it is Cognos report into Qlikview.

So any basics of Migration also helpful to me.

kush141087‌ is rite . we don't any tools that converts cognos reports to Qlikview you need to recreate all the reports in Qlikview i.e.

*Recreate the Database connections

*Build the model

*build the complete front end

*Qlikview resides in complete different server you need recreate all the Admin group and Access restriction in QV server etc

Hope this gives you some idea
