Hello Ravi,
Thanks for your reply.
I am actually interested in collapsing Expression columns.
Thanks & Regards,
Rohit
Hi Rohita,
Just go through the presentation tab in the properties window of the chart you are using. Here in the presentation tab, you can hide columns, supress zero values and there are a lot of functionalities given here to modify your chart. Go through it and check what is necessary for you. For your problem just check the box allow pivoting, and also you can give expand always so that the dimensions given in the chart will always remain expanded. Hope this helps you.

Hi Rohita,
You can do that by using the option in presentation. But you must first click on the expression you want to collapse and then check the hide column so that the expression and its coresponding values are not showed in the chart. Hope this helps you....
Thanks Joseph.....
Hi all,
The 'Supress Zero Values' on the Presentation tab remove rows and not columns.
I want to collapse entire column which can be expandable on a click.
I cannot find Hide column.I am using version 9.
Regards
Rohit
Hi Rohita.....
I am also using QV9. i hope you are using a pivot table. In the presentation window, there is an option to hide coloumn. Please go through it closely,.....
Thanks Joseph.......
Hi Rohita....
Sorry for the last reply... hide coloumns are applicable for a straight table and not for a pivot table. In a pivot table,
Thanks joseph.
Hi, there,
Maybe not useful for the question opener, but still useful for other people. As Joseph already pointed out, the "Hide column" is for Straight table, in Pivot table, in the Expressions tab, you can use the "Conditional" to conditionally hide/display the expression column.
