Combine data from two sources

Hi guys,

I have two sources. From both the sources I get same kind of data (same columns).

I want to merge the data from the two sources and generate report out of it.

The issue I am facing.

- I am not able to use 'binary' from two qvw (for two sources) for merging as QlikView doesn't support the usage of more than one binary keyword in qvw.

- When i generate 1 qvd out from the two sources respectively and LOAD the two qvds it into a new qvw, it gets hang

- When i generate 1 qvd out from the two sources respectively and LOAD the two qvds by using concatenate keyword gives erreneous results (blanks in most columns)

- Tried some other options also, but didnt find anything that works

Please let me know if there is a way to do this....

Thanks in Advance for your help...

Regards,

Clara

Hi Clara,

QlikView concatenate tables by default if the structure is the same (number of columns and exactly same names of the columns).

Firts: Check the names of the columns (upper or lower case, blank etc.).

Second: How many records you want to load?

Are you ableto download an example?
