Hello
Is there anyway to create a QlikView report that includes data from several different applications? This would be very useful!
Thanks.
objects from second file are not sensitive on selection made in first file, so i can not imagine why You want to add some objects from both files on one report:D
could You write some more info about Your idea?
You could still create hidden tab in first file, copy there objects from second file and place them into report
Hello
So for example, we have a QV app for claims and a separate one for complaints. I can create a claims report and a separate complaint report, but if I wanted to create one which showed the ratio of complaints to claims I'd need to create a combined report. I suppose I could always create a single app that contained both the claims and complaints data, which would solve the problem. But at the moment they are separate and so I need some way to combine them into a single report.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks
Hi James.
If you say "another Qlikview Application" when you say "another Application", with Binary [other application.qvw] you can get all the data from another qvw application. But... you can do it only with one app. If you need more apps, you must create a data structure to support the same data, and read the .qvd files to get these data.
Tell us exactly what you need please.
Ah, I see. Well that could be handy, thanks!
