Comment in Variable overview Window is disappearing.

Trying to add comment for a variable, I click OK, open Variable Overview again, and comment is not there.

Why this might be happening?

where you tried in qlikview/Qliksense . Because i tried then its there.

=date(Today()) // given todays date
