Comparison between two groups of selections

Hey guys!

I'm really in a bad situation right now and your help would means a lot to me.

I have a table consisting of some data about customer(ID,City,Province,product purchased,year,season,month..) and their answers to 12 questions. possible answers are: highly agree,agree,no opinion,disagree,highly disagree.

I want to have comparison between 2 different group of selections. but these groups should not be pre specified. i mean user should be able to set them as he desires. Is there any thing like combo boxes in qlikview?

the design i need is something like this:

(group1)

Year=( *,2012,2013,2014)        month=( *, 1,2,3,...12)        season=(*,spring,summer,autumn,winter)  city=(*,...)    state=(*,...)

(group2)

Year=( *,2012,2013,2014)        month=( *, 1,2,3,...12)        season=(*,spring,summer,autumn,winter)  city=(*,...)    state=(*,...)

for each group i need a table like this to see how they are doing. if you think there is another way to compare these two groups and get a result like this table i would be grateful to hear it from you.

You can use Alternate States. There is a sample in the What's New in QV 11.

Arman, you need to implement Alternate States. We have an example of how to do this. It's a bit tricky posting external links on QlikCommunity. Google "Infinity Insight" then go to Service >> QlikView Development and Design. Scroll to the bottom of the page and download the sample QVW. After you open it, navigate to the Comparison sheet.
