Mahesh, you're on a roll today. Interview coming up?

A composite key is where we concatenate two or more key fields together.

For example if I have a table with order number and order line I might do something like:

OrderNum & '_' & OrderLine as %KeyOrderNumLine

No probs, a 'Correct' would make my day though...

It's worth asking why we might use a composite key - typically I might use them to resolve a synthetic key issue.

Hi

When one or more tables have two or more fields in common, then a composite key will be generated, then QlikView handles this process with a Synthetic Key.
