I'm trying to set up some charts on a qv document to show sales by different, hierarchical criteria. Say I have a selector to choose between, for example, 'Customer Location' and 'Item Family'. When I choose one of them, I want the chart to show sales by that criterion. It's currently working for Pie Charts, but not for Block Charts (see attachment).
I've tried using a calculated dimension instead of both dimensions, like =If(CLASS_ID=1,Geo,Families). It works, but the arrow button to step-up disappears.
