Connect Qlikview with Ms Access database (version 2003)

Dear ALL,

Good day. I'm just entry level in Qlikview.

I have a trouble that i'm not able to connect my Qlikview with the Ms. Access database (2003). My MDB file consist of password. I'm using OLE DB with Ms. Jet 4.0 OLE DB.

I had input the password into the to establish the connection to the MDB but the error msg of "unable to connect data source" or "Test connection fail because of an error in Initialize provider.

But everything is all right if i remove the password from my MDB.

Any idea i can overcome this?

Be sure you have the connection opened at first (including passwords) before selecting the data.

Since you use Access I suggest you make an ODBC connection and after this select the things you want.
