Connect to Database disabled

Hi,

I am new to Qlikview, and I was trying to follow the tutorials on how to import data from a database using the wizard.

However my Database section, which would help me connect to a database, is disabled. So I cannot choose to connect to a database.

It looks more like a windows problem than a qlikview problem to me but then I wouldn't know where else to ask. Any suggestions would help me go ahead with the tutorials.

Regards,

Rajiv

Hi,

I am not sure what exactely is disabled in your app...

(I am referring to QV 10 in the following):

Go to edit script (CTRL-E), in the left bottom part enter data tab.

There is a drop down menu, I think you should see at least ODBC and OLE DB connectors.

Do you mean this dropdown is disabled? Or have you proceed with "Connect" and one of the selections? Which one?
