Connect to oracle 11g

hello All,

I am facing problem after connection successful to Oracle DataBase.

after connecting when i select the Select Button.then it making clear the connection string

inplace of popup window for select.

is there any setting Required.Please suggets

Hi Sunil,

I am not getting.

Let me guess,you have made the DSN successfully.OK.

In qlikview you are able to connect with that DSN credential ie datasouce username and password.But when you are going for select button you are not getting the result for all the tables.

This may be because you may be not connected to the databse right now.

Try to make other new DSN.

i have try at 10 times to create new dsn.But no success.

I thing dsn is not an issue .i think  some setting required while creating Dsn.

or timeout issue.

So when you are making a new connecion string .You are successfully able to do that with same credentials

Hi Sunil,

Go to the Data Sources in Control pannel and check that whether there is driver for oracle installed or not.

Other case may be that it is not getting the path specified for the Datasource you have specified.

So you have to contact with your database administrator.

I have use OleDB connection.

its working for me now.
