Hi,
I have a connection from Qlikview to Apache Hive in Cloudera.
It's an ODBC connecion and works well.
The data is loaded into QV model via editor scripts.
Now I am working with Hive tables with 2 million rows, but my idea is to work with historical information
this historical can have more than 500 millions rows. I would like to know if I can have problems with this amount
of information. I know that I need a big amount of RAM, but I would like to know the best way to work in this kind
of situations. I want on-line explorations over 100 millions rows.
- Do I need to do an aggregation in Hive
- Is useful to work with Direct Query in this case?
- Is good ODBC connector?, are there other options?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Juan
Can anybody help me with this issue?
I need best practices to connect to Hive from Qlikview.
Thanks in advance
Hi Juanvg1972,
I am trying to connect Qlikview to Apache Hive . It will hep if you can send across the exact location or source from where i can download the Apache hive connector for qlikview.
It will also help if you can send across any documentation if you have any.
