Connection Error to Oracle 11. ORA-12532

Hi,

I am trying to connect to Orale 11 from QlikView 11.2

I am created and tested the DSN properly. It is working fine.

When I am trying to connect through QlikView, following error is getting displayed.

Connection Test Failed

SQL##f - SqlState: S1000, ErrorCode: 12532, ErrorMsg: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-12532: TNS:invalid argument

One more thing, after clicking on the Test Connection, it is again prompting to enter the Service Name, UserId and Password. After entering these details I am getting the above error.

This issue is solved. Thanks Alot.

The problem was with the TNS Entry. Once that was rectified, I was able to connect to the Oracle 11.
